Harp
Lottie took up the harp in 2014 whilst managing an opera course for young singers. A desire for an inexpensive, practical hobby was soon obliterated by the discovery of a (rather poor quality) harp on eBay. Lottie's harp playing remained strictly for pleasure until 2018 when she was a short-lived member of Bedford-based Irish band Inis Eire. With Inis Eire Lottie played at a number of local events and concerts and invested in her current instrument, a Dusty Strings Ravenna 34 lever harp.
Despite leaving the band to concentrate on her career as a solo singer, Lottie has continued to develop her skills as a solo harpist and singer-harpist. She specialises in the folk music of England, Ireland, Scotland, Norway and Sweden, and has played as a harpist at Scandimoot. She also has some Spanish harp repertoire and is able to perform a number of popular songs upon request. She has recently made a solo appearance as a harpist at the Wild Voice Festival in Northampton.
Lottie is available as a harpist and singer-harpist for weddings, parties and other events.
