PIANO
Lottie began playing the piano at the age of 6 and achieved her Grade VIII Piano with Distinction at the age of 16. The following year she performed Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 23 in A Major with her school orchestra. Whilst still at school she discovered a talent for accompanying, winning the High Wycombe Student Accompanists' Prize at the age of 17, and began to develop her skills as a collaborative pianist and chamber musician. She continued to develop her piano playing whilst studying Music at Cambridge University, where she achieved a first-class grade for her Advanced Keyboard Skills module.
Lottie now has over fifteen years' experience as a professional accompanist, working with instrumentalists and singers of all abilities, from beginners to professionals. Whilst most of her work involves accompanying students for examinations, she is also an experienced recital accompanist and has performed all over the UK.
Lottie also works as an opera repetiteur and has extensive experience playing keyboards in pit bands for operas and musicals. She was resident pianist at the Stoke Park Club Hotel for a number of years, and has played at numerous weddings and functions. She has also performed professionally as a harpsichordist and organist.
